Lily Bee Giveaway

As you may know, I've been the Lily Bee Guest Designer for the month of November. I've loved creating with all of the fun Lily Bee goodies. Here are a few more things I made.

This first layout was created for a feature on using their cardstock stickers. I love them! They were perfect for this page about Ryan's archery lessons.

I used the pennant stickers from all three collections and created the sunburst pattern with them.

These next few cards use the lovely Christmas Cheer line.
I layered one of the stickers onto a scalloped circle here.

On this one, I added strips of paper and topped it with a Crate vellum sequin tree.

I love their journaling cards and used one here as the base of this card.
I added paper to a wooden snowflake and used stickers to create the sentiment.

Since this is my last week with Lily Bee, I have a little giveaway going on. I have the Persnickety 6 by 6 tablet and a set of Persnickety stamps to share.

Just leave me a comment by Sunday night at midneight EST to be entered. I'll choose a winner on Monday.

Thanks for stopping by!

Crate Day

How can it be that December is almost upon us?? I know that I'm not ready for it to arrive. We are already starting to gear up for the holidays and Ryan is really excited. I managed to hit some Black Friday sales but I'm nowhere near done with my shopping. Plus, I'm starting a new job, so my free time is going to be elusive. I decided to do a December Daily this year and I'm really hoping that I can keep up with it. I don't want it to become a burden. I do want to make sure we do enough to celebrate the season so that I have enough to add to my album. Here's the cover.

I love it so far. I decided to go with a Snap album. I added some bits and pieces to the front inclusing a Crate border sticker and chipboard snowflake, a shipping tag, a doily (of course) and some Elle's Studio goodies.
I've even organized my goodies so they are there for me to reach. I'm ready to go! Wish me luck...

Here are a couple of other projects that I don't think I've shared yet.

This first one is a page that I used a ton of Silhouette leaf cuts on. All of the paper and stickers on here are Crate Acorn Lane.

I arranged the leaves on the page and just started gluing them down where they were. Some were added with foam adhesive for a bit of texture.
I think it would be fun to recreate a page like this using snowflakes.

Here's another project I did for Crate recently. Our November Creative Weekly theme was to focus on gratitude. Of course my friends and family are at the top of my 'thankful' list, but I decided to take a different course here.

I took pictures of all of the little things I was thankful for on this particular day and documented them here.
The background paper is my new favorite -it's from the Sleigh Ride collection. Most everything else is from On Trend.
I'd like to do these kind of 'gratitude' pages more often. I think it's a good way to remind myself of all the good things in my life each day.

Well, that's about it for today. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is definitely one of my favorite days of the year. I love the sense of gratitude it brings. I love gathering together with my family. And I love the food. While there are so many things I'm grateful for each and every day, I'm most thankful for the love of my family, friends who I cherish, and a life that is filled with good things everyday.

This week on the Webster's blog we created tags to reflect our gratitude. Here's mine.

I used Park Drive papers, a Best Friends flower, some pins, a charm, a Sunday Picnic fabric tag and some Dazzle Me gems on here.

Thanks for stopping by and no matter where you are I hope you are celebrating this day with loved ones!

Awesome Giveaway

I love short work weeks! With Thanksgiving on Thursday, that's exactly what we will be having this week. Yay.

There are so many things I am thankful for. One of them is that I have a sweet friend, Cindy Smith, who owns a wonderful online store - Emma's Paperie. And I get to design for her. ;)  If you don't know Emma's you definitely need to pop on over and take a look. She has wonderful customer service and SUPER fast shipping. There is a giveaway going on on the blog right now. Here is the link Emma's Paperie Blog. You could be the winner of one of three $25 gift certificates.  Good Luck!

Here's a card I recently created for the Emma's blog.

I used some beautiful Carta Bella paper and topped it off with a Pebbles banner sentiment sticker.
Some Prima roses and a Prima gem were the finishing touch.
I've been really into using my embossing folders on cardstock and did that here. I love the texture it adds.

Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget to head over to Emma's for a chance to win!

Have a great day/ :)

Christmas Cards

It's that time of year! The holidays will be here soon, Christmas shopping has begun and it's time to work on cards! Over at the Webster's blog we have been sharing cards all week.  We even have a new challenge posted where you can share your Webster's holiday cards for a chance to win a collection of your choice. You can check it out here.

Here are a couple of cards that I have made recently. This first one mixed Royal Christmas with Best Friends.

I wanted to add a pop of pink with the red and green. The trim is from Botanical Christmas and works well with the papers here.
I added the cameo from the Perfect Accents set and adhered it to a die cut that I cut with my Spellbinders die.

I thought the sentiment was perfect with the candy cane image.

This next card uses more traditional colors. I added some trim and layered one of the images from Royal Christmas onto it.

The glitter trim was a perfect touch on here along with the mini Princess Petals.
Finally, I finished with some letter stickers that I embellished with a gem and some other stickers.
Be sure to stop by Inspire Me and join in on the challenge! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Washi Tape Fun

Once again, the week has gotten away from me! But, that's ok, because it's almost Friday!!

Today, I have a couple of pages that I've done recently for Emma's. I'm still loving 8.5 by 11 pages. This first one was done as a focus on Washi tape.

I used a mix of My Mind's Eye and Echo Park papers on here.
I made the flowers by adding a strip of washi tape tape to a strip of paper. I trimmed the edges with scalloped scissors and fan folded it into a flower. I love how the tape looks on them.

I also used washi bu adding strips to my page and layering chipboard buttons (October Afternoon) onto them.
Finally, I used my Silhouette on here for part of the title.

This next page was made to document how excited Ryan was the day he got his pallete expander off. He hadn't had any gum in 9 months and was so excited that he could finally have some.
I used the actual gum pack on here along with a lot of Echo Park paper and Elle's Studio tags.

Well, that's it for today. Thanks for stopping by! :)

Lily Bee Guest Designer

Another week that flew by and here we are at Saturday, again. This week I was able to share some fun scrappy news. I was invited to be the Guest Designer over at Lily Bee! I just love their products and had so much fun creating with them. My work will be focused every Thursday this month.

Here is the first project I created. We focused on stamps this month. I used the Persnickety line to feature this cute photo of Pulu. He adores his kitty treats and first thing in the morning runs downstairs demanding that I give them to him. Of course, I have to oblige!

I used the heart stamps as an embellishment on top of the journaling card.
The border stamps were used to create a cluster at the top of the page.
And I used stamps from the Autumn Spice set to create the border along the bottom.
On this card, I used on of my favorite techniques - using white embossed images on kraft. I used the doily stamp from the Persnickety set on here along with Persnickety papers and cardstock stickers.

Can't wait to share the rest of the things I made for them this month. ;)
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
